August 12's Cambodia Daily (p. 29)* notes outrage in Battambang: someone opened a bar/hotel with 'Buddha' as part of the name. (Click for larger version.)


In Paris, no one would bat an eye: 'Buddha Bar' has existed for some time.

This comic was originally drawn in 2003; it's one of several older cartoons I'm getting colored for a publication - maybe an exhibition.
