Wellllll, here goes for my first attempt at true blogging.

I've just finished quite a slog of boring commissioned artwork for unappreciative clients. But now I'm done and I'm doing my OWN STUFF! First thing is a one page comic that's going in the University's Medical journal, Centaur. I helped out with the cover and for payment, I got a full page in the magazine to do whatever I wanted with.

This is a true story. I think I had all these ideals about what it would be like to draw actual human muscles from life. I wasn't prepared for the visceral nature of the whole thing. Bleh. I'll stick to the textbooks from now on.
